S8E6: "go pray and watch the sunsets!" (6-12-23)

 Hello, my beloved family and friends!

What a week! Alexa, play high and lows from the 2023 youth albums. 

Just today, we had some awesome miracles! Wednesday's family has been fasting that Wednesday (a girl we have been teaching) would be allowed to be baptized. We got a text that Wednesday would be allowed to be baptized!!! Her mom is over the roof, and we know Wednesday is too. ❤️

 It's so awesome!! I am so glad that she will be able to make this promise with God! Ahhhhh! 🥳🥳🥳

🥲🥲

We had a lesson with Sister Leanne. Wow! We could definitely feel the spirit! She told us about how she was going to be able to foster a baby, but the baby died. She is still choosing to see it has a blessing. She hadn't thought of foster until someone asked her to foster. She told us that she started praying again to be able to have a baby. She cried. 

Leanne wrote down all the scriptures we said and asked for resources how to read them better.Do youu know what invites the spirit? When you areactivelyy seekin truth and light. 

SISTER KERR

We had another member looking for truth. Sister Martin wrote down all the scriptures she could about how to recognize the spirit. It was a whole page. Then Sister Kerr READ ALL of them before that night and texted us about it!!! 

Sister Kerr also gave Sister Martin gluten-free chicken nuggets 👌

And that was a miracle because Sister Martin felt depressed-o 🙃

People were mean this week for some reason? An old man from his car yelled at us, doors were slammed, and people asked if we could read the no soliciting sign. We actually had a guy hide behind some boxes in his storage unit? It was kinda of strange and also really rough. 

I said, "We like your beef flavor Ramen noodles!" and then walk into the sunset 

SUNDAY DINNER

Holy cow! What a crazy miracle! We had 

all the inactive people there from the ward. They all just invited each other. One of them left before the message, but Brendon stayed!! Brendon didn't want to service a mission, but then he went to youth camp, and he changed his mind!! We just watched the video (where Justice Love and Mercy Meet) and had a little discussion. Brother Whitehead even shared, which was crazy about his brother saving him. 

SOPHIA 

She feels like she should get baptized and says that when she graduates, she would want to (MAY 2024). Sister Martin tell just talked about how waiting is like waiting for your driver's license, and why wait? But then we were like, no pressure. Sophia says she feels like she doesn't know enough and wants to learn more. 

Banks was really excited that she said she would like to be baptized! 

VIBRATION AND VIBES DUDE 

We saw Armen walking he is such a nice guy! He has some really solid vibes. He really likes questions and loves teaching himself. He talked about vibration and related the Holy ghost to God everywhere. He gave us a prep talk about rejection and love. 

He invited us to "go pray and watch the sunsets!" 

Overall, it was a very good week! Yesterday, I was stressed out of my mind, and then everything worked out. It is hard to feel the spirit when I am so stressed, so I need to figure that one out. 😅 

I just need to trust God more. I was walking in the dark to my bed. "There could be a scorpion on the floor," I said a prayer and step-by-step made it to my bed. The point is that God can our butts all the time, and we would have no idea. In the morning, I found in larva on the kitchen floor 🤷‍♀️ whether or not there were scorpions. I have no idea.
