S11E3: WHAT MATTERS MOST (9-25-23)
What is up Gospel Gang!
This week has been awesome, beautiful, and exhausting. Two amazing people have gotten baptized this week. Sarah Britt's baptism was wonderful. Both of her parents are converts so she didn't have any family there. We invited the stake president and he showed up!Sophia was able to get baptized! She was really nervous. Her parents and her whole family came! They had no idea what was going on. "I thought she was going to be sprinkled." It was so beautiful and it made me happy for the choice she made. The spirit was there! The baptism was not fancy and lasted less than 30 minutes but it was so beautiful. Both of those baptisms were amazing and it shows that what really matters is that they were making a promise with God. <3SISTER HILL!!It went great! We took her knocking cause she hasn't been knocking before. We were just so positive and friendly to each other that when we were at the door it was that much easier! She showed me away to teach the plan of salvation which was cool. She is chilling. LOSING OURSELVESSister Guddat and I really are losing ourselves the best we can. We both have the spiritual gift of giving criticism (very unique haha). We have similar goals and I am trying to make sure I am on top of it so I can learn the area. We have done so many roleplays! I love realplays, it really brings the spirit. We both roleplayed to each other the question with the basis "Why do I need to be worthy to be baptized?" when we were doing a service of cleaning this filthy bathroom. We also made that bathroom very clean. It was awesome! We are going to try to finish the book of Mormon this week. REVOLUTIONSo senior stls. That would be nice. The change would just be that all the stls would have a call weekly and one of the stls would report directly to President and Sister Hansbrow. We would love it if when new STL's are called the Senior stls calls them and tells them what it contains. Sister Guddat and I both were made STLs at the same time and were given ZERO direction. 14 days later we received our call letter that had what we were supposed to be doing...but literally no one is holding us responsible and knows what we are doing.
