Sarah's Mission 2022-23

  Dear family and friends,  Things I am grateful for -Sister Giordano gave me an emo Hawaiian necklace  -I felt like we should knock on Jaden's door; however, it would be really awkward. We did it anyways and it wasn't smooth at all but his mom talked with us and Jaden for an hour. We read her Moroni 6:5-6 "That is why you came here! To give me that verse!" - I have gotten a lot better at biking! - Rosie got good new from the doctor. - I got a really good blessing that told me to teach whereever I go. - My cute blue fanny pack - I am happy that we are studying the new testament this year. I am learning more about the Messiah and we can easily invite our friends to church - We met a lonely guy name Harry that doesn't believe in God. He was very nice and we follow a prompting to go back and invite him to hear me speak in church. I told him I was very nervous and he sympathized. He thanked us for inviting him and said he felt part of the team.  - We met this cool mem

Many miracles  However, top miracle that happened this week was to me. ❤️ Uhhhhhhhh we had the people feeding us dinner be fellowship for the lesson right afterwards but then it canceled and then we just ended up having a lesson with them 1 Nephi 8:8 "And AFTER had traveled for the space of many hours in darkness, I began to pray unto the Lord that he would have mercy on me, according to the multitude of his tender mercies." We invited them to work on asking for helping, especially from Heavenly Father. This sister bore her testimony about how his grace sufficient and you are enough making while direct eye contact with Sister Martin who then cried 👍  This Sister used to struggle with anorexia to the point where she was dying.  "You don't have to die t

  Dear Family and Friends! We had Elder Alanzo come and share his thoughts! He shared about love and obedience. He was such an example of love for Christ and Christlike love. It was overpowering.  "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." - John 13:34-35 EYES TO SEE  My goal for this week is to work on eye contact and to have "real talk" with God once a day. I want to look people in the eye and be able to express the love God has for them. It's hard when they are a 6'5" and a tiny grumpy haha.  Usually when I talk to someone on the street I leave feeling unsatisfied. Wishing I said something different. How can I radiate Christlike love, man?  ELIJAH  Here is how miracles works: Elijah and his Uncle are getting taught in Dec 2021. They lose contact.  Fast forward, it's Mother's Day in 2023.
